A Compare and Contrast Essay
By: Kari-Ann A
Is it possible for two animals to be so similar yet so different? Grey wolves and Red Foxes are very similar but very different at the same time. They have ways of hunting, ways of socializing, and areas they live in that are very interesting!
Every animal has its own way of hunting. Foxes are omnivores so they eat plants and animals. They mostly eat small rodents, worms, and fruit. Wolves are carnivorous so they eat only meat. They eat elk, caribou, moose, rabbit, and beaver.
Foxes and Wolves have very different ways of socializing. Foxes stay alone and never have anyone else with them. Wolves on the other hand stay in packs and they’re very close to their mates.
They have similar areas of living, though foxes adapt to more habitats. Foxes enjoy wooded areas, farmland, and sometimes even desserts. Wolves on the other hand enjoy forests more.
Grey wolves and Red foxes are two different but similar creatures. They have different ways of eating, different ways of socializing and similar places to live.
